Niger Delta Advocate Celebrates Isoko Son, Describes Election as Recognition of Leadership, Experience and Service

Captain Dan Ekpa, a Niger Delta advocate and community leader, has extended his warm congratulations to Dr. Omoefe Ejere, an illustrious son of Isoko Kingdom, on his election as President of the 36 Pals Development Initiatives, an Abuja-based social and development-oriented club comprising a group of friends united by common values, fellowship and commitment to community development.

Dr. Ejere emerged as President following an election conducted in recent days and formally assumed office on September 15, 2026, during a colourful swearing-in ceremony held in Abuja.

At the ceremony, Dr. Ejere and other newly elected members of the executive received their respective Certificates of Office and took the Oath of Office, formally marking the commencement of their tenure.

In his congratulatory message, Captain Dan Ekpa described the emergence of Dr. Ejere as a significant recognition of his leadership qualities, professional experience, integrity and commitment to service.

He noted that Dr. Ejere's new responsibility provides another platform for him to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the 36 Pals Development Initiatives, while strengthening the bonds of friendship, unity and collective responsibility among its members.

Captain Ekpa expressed confidence that Dr. Ejere would bring his wealth of experience, organisational capacity and people-oriented leadership to bear on his new assignment.

He further described Dr. Ejere as a distinguished professional whose achievements in the hospitality industry have continued to attract recognition.

Dr. Omoefe Ejere is a renowned hospitality practitioner and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Cubana and Managing Director of Harvard Restaurant. His professional career in the hospitality sector has positioned him as an experienced manager with a strong understanding of administration, enterprise development and people management.

Captain Ekpa congratulated the newly elected President and members of the executive, urging them to remain committed to the ideals upon which the 36 Pals Development Initiatives was established.

He particularly encouraged Dr. Ejere to use his tenure to promote unity, friendship, mutual support and initiatives capable of creating lasting value for members and the wider society.

The Niger Delta advocate also celebrated Dr. Ejere's achievement as another source of pride to Isoko Kingdom and the Niger Delta, describing his emergence as an opportunity for an accomplished son of the region to provide leadership beyond his professional field.

Oduma said the scholars departed from Abuja and arrived in London on Friday to commence studies in fields considered critical to national and regional development.
