Amori's appointment well-deserved - Bureau Chief.

By EgbemaVoice, Director General, Delta State Bureau for Communications and Orientation, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has said that the appointment of Senator Dr Ighoyota Amori, as Chief Adviser to Delta State Governor, is well deserved, a round peg in a round hole. Oghenesivbe assertion was contained in a congratulatory message to Senator Amori and made available to newsmen on Thursday, saying that governor Sheriff Oborevwori made a perfect choice. He assured that Senator Amori shall bring to bear his wealth of experience as a political strategist and founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. PAP Students Visit IPF's President, Demands For Amnesty Budget Increment, Applaud Otuaro,

By EgbemaVoice, Earlier today 15th March 2025, the National Association Of the Presidential Amnesty Students Worldwide (NAPAS) visited the National president of the Ijaw Publishers' Forum (IPF), Comrade Ozobo Austin at his Warri office. The visit was led by its national president Comr Ebidouwei Miyenpirigha and the union's women leader Comr Embelakpo Emeka. The PAP students' expressed gratitude to the administrator of the presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro for his uncommon achievements with the short time in office, adding that Niger Delta leaders and stakeholders should give him every necessary support to enable him do more for the amnesty programme. Nigerian Navy NNBTS Batch 37 Recruitment examination holds Saturday 18th January at NNS Delta Warri. The Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, NNBTS recruitment examination for Batch 37 will take place at NNS Delta Warri, begining from 7:am on Saturday 18th January, 2025. Director General of Delta State Orientation and Communications Bureau, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, in a statement on Wednesday said all shortlisted applicants of Delta State origin are to report at NNS Delta Warri with online application form showing their particulars, as well as writing materials, 2B Pencil and Eraser. The Governor of Delta State Rt Hon.(Elder) Sheriff F.O Oborevwori Has approved the appointment of Chief Ighoyota Amori as Chief Adviser to the Governor. According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the state Government (SSG) Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, the appointment is with immediate effect. It would be recalled that, the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) in a special report on Thisday newspaper on 4th January 2025 said following the resumption of oil refining by Dangote, Port Harcourt and Warri Refineries, the country needs 123.48 million barrels for the nine Nigerian refineries in the first quarter (H1) 2025, with Dangote receiving the highest share, suggesting that the country needs to undergo drilling of more oil to meet both foreign and domestic demands.
