The Progressive Youth Leadership Foundation of Niger Delta (PYLF-ND), Edo State Chapter, led by its chairman, Comrade Mingo Meshach Sayami Ogumaka, has paid a condolence visit to the country home of the late nationalist, Dr. Sen. Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, Esq., FR. The visit, which took place at Kiagbodo Town in Ngbeilebiri Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, was to sympathize with the immediate family, the Ijaw nation, and the Niger Delta region over the loss of the revered leader.
Chief Edwin Clark, a former Senator and elder statesman, passed away on February 17, 2025. Known for his unflinching dedication to the Niger Delta cause, his passing is a monumental loss to the region and the nation at large.

During the visit, Comrade Mingo expressed profound grief and conveyed the condolences of the Edo State Chapter of the PYLF-ND to the family and the entire Niger Delta. He highlighted Chief Clark's remarkable contributions to the fight for equity, justice, and development in the region.

Mingo emphasized the need for the younger generation to emulate the late leader's vision and commitment to the progress of the Niger Delta and pledged continued support for the ideals he championed. He stated,
