The Ajakurama Development Initiative, widely known as AjakuramaVoice—a socio-developmental group advocating for the growth and advancement of Ajakurama Clan and its affiliate communities across Edo and Delta States—has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Dr. Tob Loko on his recent appointment as the Commissioner for Environment in Ondo State.

In an official congratulatory message signed by the National President comrade Mingo Meshach Sayami Ogumaka of the Initiative, the organization expressed profound joy and pride at the elevation of one of their own, describing it as a milestone not only for Hon. Dr. Tob Loko but also for the entire Ijaw nation, particularly the people of Ajakurama Clan and the greater Arogbo Ijaw Ibe and Egbema Kingdom.

We are extremely delighted to celebrate our illustrious son, Hon. Dr. Tob Loko, who has been appointed, screened, and sworn in as the Honourable Commissioner for Environment in Ondo State. His appointment is a clear recognition of merit, dedication, and service. It is a peg that fits perfectly into the hole," the statement reads.

The Initiative hailed Hon. Dr. Loko as a distinguished son of Arogbo Ijaw Ibe and Egbema Kingdom—maternal roots proudly traced to the historic and resource-rich Ajakurama Clan. According to the group, his character and leadership journey are anchored in humility, dedication to public service, and an unwavering love for his people.

Dr. Loko is not only a politician, but a people-oriented leader whose voice has always echoed the yearnings and aspirations of the grassroots. He is known for his strong academic background, intellectual capacity, and vocal advocacy for youth empowerment and environmental justice—qualities that make him exceptionally suited for this portfolio.”

The Ajakurama Development Initiative emphasized that his appointment signifies a beacon of hope for young people from Ijaw extraction, who now see in him a role model and proof that excellence and loyalty to community can indeed attract recognition at the highest levels of governance.

They also used the occasion to commend the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, for his wisdom and foresight in appointing Hon. Dr. Tob Loko to a ministry as crucial as the environment, especially in a time when climate resilience, ecological protection, and sustainable development are urgent issues affecting coastal and oil-producing communities of Ondo state.

We sincerely thank the Governor for believing in the capabilities of our son. It is our firm belief that Hon.
