PASTOR DR PHILIP GBASIN FELICITATE WITH SENATOR DR ARTHUR OKOWA, FORMER GOVERNOR OF DELTA STATE ON HIS 66TH BIRTHDAY,

On behalf of my family and the good people of Egbema kingdom, I join the thousands of persons people all over Delta state and beyound to wish you a happy blessed birthday and all of God's blessings to you and of yours.

 In your reign as Governor of Delta state, many riverine communities though not linked to the hinterland by roads and bridges, benefited from the execution of township road projects. As a result, many river rine community folks now enjoy the pleasure of driving luxurious cars in their communities. These infrastructural projects have in turn stimulated several other development activities like housing and commerce.
In my tenure as the Pioneer Executive Director of Projects, DESOPADEC, It was a rare privilege to be part of the Commissioning of such projects in several communities in Delta State namely Burutu, Ogulagha, Okerenkoko, Sokibolou, Benikurukuru, Oporoza and Ogbinbiri, Oboro among others.

As we celebrate your birthday, the good people of Tsekelewu Community, and indeed Egbema Kingdom in Warri North Local Government Area are still basking in the countless benefits of the Construction of the now famous Tsekelewu Foot Bridge and 1km Walkway linking two sides of the community hitherto separated by a creek for over 600 years.

Through the instrumentality of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), and within your first tenure as Governor, the following other projects were executed in Egbema Kingdom to your credit : Supply and Installation 250kva Diesel Plants in Ogbinbiri, Ogbudugbudu, Awamba and Sunny Jero communities; Construction of Slipway at Ogbinbiri; Construction of Teachers Quarters at Ogbudugbudu community; Construction of Walkway at Opuama Community etc.
 
Above all, sons and daughters of Egbema Kingdom will forever be grateful to your Excellency for your godly intervention that saw Egbema Kingdom produce the first ever Ijaw Chairman of Warri North Local Government Area after three decades of its creation.

Personally, I cannot appreciate you enough for providing my the exalted platform to express myself as the Pioneer Executive Director of Projects, DESOPADEC, a rare platform that availed me the opportunity of supervising the Design, Execution and Commissioning of numerous infrastrural projects across the mandate ethnic nationalities of Itsekiri, Ijaw, Urhobo, Isoko, Ndokwa and Ika. Your many kind words of Commendation and support in this regard will for ever be treasured.

Your Excellency Sir, 
May your latter years be more blessed than the former in this auspicious season of celebration.
