The Electoral Committee of the Ijaw National Congress (INC) has officially declared the results of its just-concluded presidential election held at Ijaw House, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
According to the final figures released, High Chief MacDonald Igbadiwei secured a decisive victory with a total of 317 votes, emerging ahead of other contenders in the race.

Engr. Ebipamowei Wodu – 53 votes
Chief T.K. Ogoriba – 11 votes
Chief Nengi James – 4 votes
Rear Admiral Woyenidikpete Geoffrey Yenga – 1 vote
With this outcome, High Chief MacDonald Igbadiwei has been duly elected as the new President of the apex Ijaw socio-cultural body.
