NdokwaForward Congratulates Oborevwori on APC Primary Victory, Predicts Bigger Mandate in 2027,

By EgbemaVoice,

A political pressure group in Delta State, NdokwaForward, has congratulated Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his victory at the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election, describing the outcome as a strong indication of a wider political mandate ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement jointly signed by Rt. Hon. Samuel Osasa Esq, Dr. George Ugbomah and Chief Isaac Onyesom on behalf of the group, NdokwaForward described the governor’s emergence as the APC candidate as a reflection of his growing popularity and acceptance among party members and the wider Delta electorate.

The group noted that the governor’s victory extended beyond an internal party exercise, stressing that it represented what it called a “profound validation” of Oborevwori’s people-oriented leadership style and the confidence Deltans continued to place in his administration.

According to the group, the overwhelming support recorded during the primary election demonstrated that political legitimacy remained rooted in public acceptance and grassroots support.

NdokwaForward further stated that the widespread endorsement from party stakeholders and structures across the state underscored collective confidence in the governor’s leadership and developmental agenda for Delta State.

The group particularly highlighted the level of mobilisation and enthusiasm witnessed across Ndokwa Nation during the primary process, describing it as more than support for a party contest but rather evidence of growing political momentum ahead of future electoral contests.

It said the outcome signalled a strengthening relationship between the governor’s administration and grassroots communities, adding that public confidence in his leadership remained “strong and intact.”

“Across Ndokwa Nation, the remarkable mobilisation, enthusiasm and broad support witnessed throughout the process were not merely expressions of interest in a primary election, but a practical demonstration of the deeper political energy and popular mandate that await the 2027 General Elections,” the statement said.

NdokwaForward maintained that Oborevwori’s primary victory marked the beginning of what it described as a greater political journey that could culminate in a more decisive democratic mandate in the next general election cycle.

The group also called on APC members, stakeholders and supporters across Delta State to remain united and committed to sustaining what it described as purposeful leadership and consolidating developmental gains already recorded.

Reaffirming its support, the group congratulated Governor Oborevwori on what it termed an important political milestone and wished him success in the journey ahead.
