Ijaw United Forum Oghara Formed to Foster Unity, Peace, and Development

Oghara, ___ The Ijaw community residing in Oghara and its surrounding communities in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State has officially inaugurated the Ijaw United Forum (IUF), Oghara, a socio-cultural and developmental body established to promote unity, cooperation, and the welfare of Ijaw sons and daughters living in the area.
The forum was formed with the vision of bringing together all Ijaw people resident in Oghara under one united platform, strengthening bonds of brotherhood, and advancing the collective interests of the community.

Speaking on the objectives of the organization, the leadership of the forum stated that the Ijaw United Forum Oghara is committed to fostering peaceful coexistence among members, encouraging community development, and promoting social harmony within Oghara and beyond.
The forum aims to: Unite all Ijaw sons and daughters residing in Oghara and its environs.
Strengthen friendship, cooperation, and mutual understanding among members. Promote peace, harmony, and social integration within the community. Encourage educational, economic, and social development among Ijaw people. Provide support and assistance to members in times of need.

Contribute positively to the growth and development of Oghara and the wider society. Uphold the values of brotherhood, solidarity, and collective responsibility.
The leadership noted that the establishment of the forum marks a significant step toward creating a stronger and more organized Ijaw community in Oghara, capable of addressing common challenges and pursuing shared aspirations.

The forum therefore calls on all Ijaw sons and daughters residing in Oghara and neighboring communities to identify with the organization and support its vision of unity, peace, progress, and community development.

The Ijaw United Forum, Oghara, remains committed to serving as a platform for empowerment, cultural preservation, community engagement, and the advancement of the welfare of all Ijaw people in the area.
