The Bolowei of Egbema Kingdom, Hon. Emmanuel Omoko, popularly known as Alhaji, has expressed profound grief over the passing unto Glory of His Eminence Archbishop Prophet Dr. Lucky Amakporowei Kerenkerenwei MBE MDDEZ Okirigbongbontiti Udenbini Ukulaweiduwei, the Ogeja King, describing his departure as a monumental and irreplaceable loss to Egbema Kingdom, the Niger Delta and the Christian community.

Archbishop Prophet Dr. Lucky Kerenkerenwei passed on to Glory on 2nd September 2026, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of spiritual leadership, service to humanity, community development and unwavering commitment to the advancement of his people.

In a condolence message, Hon. Emmanuel Omoko described the late spiritual leader as a great father, an uncommon servant of God, a man of courage and wisdom, and a rare personality whose impact transcended religious boundaries.

According to the Bolowei, the passing of Archbishop Prophet Dr. Lucky Kerenkerenwei has created a vacuum that will be extremely difficult to fill.

Hon. Omoko noted that the deceased was a towering figure whose presence provided spiritual guidance, encouragement and strength to many people across Egbema Kingdom and the wider Niger Delta. He said:

“The departure of His Eminence Archbishop Prophet Dr. Lucky Kerenkerenwei is deeply painful and truly irreplaceable. We have lost a great spiritual father, an icon and a man whose life was dedicated to God and humanity.

The Bolowei further stated that Late Archbishop Prophet Dr. Lucky Kerenkerenwei was not merely a religious leader, but a father to many, a counsellor, a community builder and a voice of wisdom whose influence will remain long after his departure.

Hon. Emmanuel Omoko emphasised that although the physical presence of the revered Archbishop has departed, the values he promoted and the lives he touched will continue to bear testimony to his remarkable journey.

He described the late cleric as an Iroko tree whose shade accommodated many, adding that his contributions to spiritual development, human capital development and the advancement of the Egbema people would remain part of his enduring legacy.
“His footprints are deeply etched in the history of our people. His teachings, sacrifices, prayers, wisdom and contributions will continue to inspire generations yet unborn. Death may take away his physical presence, but it cannot erase the legacy he has left behind.”

The Bolowei of Egbema Kingdom extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, his wives, children and grandchildren, the Cherubim and Seraphim Healing Ministries, Awanba Community, Ajakurama clan, Egbema Kingdom and the entire Christian community.
Hon. Omoko prayed that Almighty God would grant the bereaved family the strength, comfort and fortitude to endure the pain of losing such an exceptional spiritual father. He also prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed Archbishop.
“Indeed, his departure is irreplaceable. We mourn him, we celebrate his life and we shall continue to cherish the great legacy he has left behind.”

May His Eminence Archbishop Prophet Dr. Lucky Amakporowei Kerenkerenwei, the Ogeja King, rest in perfect peace.
