Comr. Agabra Oyobu Mere Esq Describes Late Spiritual Icon as a Great Servant of God, Father and Pillar of the Niger Delta,

The 2027 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly, Warri North Constituency II, comrade Agabra Oyobu Mere Esq has expressed deep sadness and heartfelt condolences following the passing unto Glory of His Eminence Archbishop Prophet Dr. Lucky Amakporowei Kerenkerenwei MBE MDDEZ Okirigbongbontiti Udenbini Ukulaweiduwei, the Ogeja King, a revered spiritual leader, community icon and prominent personality of the Niger Delta.
Archbishop Prophet Dr. Lucky Kerenkerenwei passed on to Glory on Wednesday, 2nd September 2026, leaving behind a profound legacy of Christian service, spiritual leadership, community development and humanitarian impact.
In a condolence message, Agabra Oyobu Mere Esq described the deceased as a great icon, spiritual father, mentor and man of extraordinary courage and compassion, whose life and works touched countless people within and beyond the Egbema Kingdom and the Niger Delta.
According to him, the passing of Archbishop Prophet Dr. Lucky Kerenkerenwei represents a painful and irreplaceable loss to the Christian community, the Egbema Kingdom, Warri North, the Niger Delta and all those who benefited from his wisdom, prayers, counsel and benevolence.
Today, we mourn not merely the passing of a man, but the departure of a great spiritual father, an uncommon leader and an icon whose footprints are deeply etched in the history of our people.
Agabra noted that Late Archbishop Prophet Dr. Lucky Kerenkerenwei devoted his life to the service of God and humanity, particularly through his leadership and ministry at the Cherubim and Seraphim Healing Ministries, Awanba National Headquarters.
He further acknowledged the deceased's contributions to human capital development, spiritual growth, community advancement and the promotion of unity and peaceful coexistence among the people.
“HIS LEGACY WILL LIVE ON”
Agabra Oyobu Mere Esq stated that although death has silenced the physical presence of the revered spiritual leader, his teachings, sacrifices, achievements and positive influence will continue to speak for him.
The Iroko has fallen, but the forest will forever remember its shade. His voice may have gone silent, but the values he stood for will continue to resonate in the hearts of generations yet unborn.
He particularly extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the Cherubim and Seraphim Healing Ministries, the Awanba Community, the Egbema Kingdom, the Christian community and all associates, friends and admirers of the late Archbishop.
The PDP candidate prayed that God Almighty would grant the family and loved ones the strength, comfort and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He also prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed spiritual father.
“May Almighty God grant him eternal rest and grant his family the strength to carry on the great legacies he left behind. May his soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.”
