OGEJA KING JOURNEY HOME: MINGO APPRECIATES SNR. HIGH CHIEF KINGSLEY KUKU FOR SUPPORT
By EgbemaVoice,
Niger Delta youth leader, Comrade Mingo Friday Sayami Ogumaka, popularly known as KingdomVoice, has expressed profound appreciation to Snr. High Chief Dr. Kingsley K. Kuku, Esq., for his remarkable support and leadership during the burial ceremonies of the late icon, His Eminence Archbishop Dr. Saint Lucky Amakporowei Kenrenkenrenwei, the Ogeja King.
Comrade Mingo particularly acknowledged High Chief Kuku for accepting the responsibility of serving as Chairman of the funeral wake-keeping ceremony, describing his presence, time and commitment as a significant demonstration of honour and respect for the departed Ogeja King.
High Chief Dr. Kingsley Kuku is a Nigerian politician and environmental rights advocate who previously served as Special Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan on Niger Delta Affairs and Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).
According to Comrade Mingo, High Chief Kuku’s decision to personally identify with the final journey of the late Ogeja King was particularly significant because of his ancestral and familial connections to Ajakurama, Egbema Kingdom and the Arogbo Ibe Kingdom.
He described Kuku as a distinguished son of the Niger Delta who has continued to demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility towards his people, adding that his willingness to devote his time and resources to ensuring a befitting final farewell for his departed kinsman deserves recognition.
Comrade Mingo further described the gesture as an example of family responsibility, cultural respect and community solidarity, stressing that leadership is not only demonstrated through public positions but also through the willingness to stand with one's people during moments of grief and difficult circumstances.
He commended Snr. High Chief Dr. Kingsley Kuku for honouring the memory of the Ogeja King and for providing leadership at a moment when the Awanba Ajakurama Clan, Egbema Kingdom and the wider Niger Delta came together to bid farewell to an illustrious son.
“His commitment to the final journey of his kinsman is worthy of commendation and emulation,” Comrade Mingo stated, while praying that God will continue to strengthen High Chief Kuku, bless his family and grant him greater wisdom and capacity to serve humanity.
He also prayed for the peaceful repose of His Eminence Archbishop Dr. Saint Lucky Amakporowei Kenrenkenrenwei, the Ogeja King, and for God to grant the bereaved family, the Awanba Ajakurama Clan and the entire Egbema Kingdom the fortitude to bear the loss.
