IPF: Telling the Ijaw Story with Integrity and Responsibility
With due respect, I, Comrade Mingo T. Friday, a grassroots member of the Ijaw Publishers Forum (IPF), hereby present my manifesto as a contestant for the position of Treasurer of our great forum.
The Ijaw Publishers Forum was established to serve as the authoritative platform for documenting, preserving, and projecting the true history, culture, struggles, and aspirations of the Ijaw people. IPF remains the collective voice and professional press house of the Ijaw nation, committed to accurate storytelling, responsible journalism, and historical documentation.

As a committed and founding member of IPF, I have consistently upheld these ideals and strongly believe that the sustainability of this noble vision depends largely on transparency, accountability, and prudent financial management.

My Vision for the Office of Treasurer
If entrusted with the office of Treasurer, I pledge to uphold the highest standards of financial integrity and responsibility in the management of IPF resources. My key commitments include:

Transparency and Accountability,
Ensuring proper financial records, regular financial reporting, and openness in all financial dealings in accordance with IPF constitutional provisions.

Prudent Financial Management,
Managing IPF funds with discipline and foresight, ensuring that resources are utilized strictly for approved programs and institutional development.
Proper Documentation and Record-Keeping, Maintaining accurate documentation of all income, expenditures, and financial obligations of the forum for institutional continuity and reference.

Institutional Growth and Sustainability,
Working collaboratively with the IPF leadership to strengthen internal financial structures and explore lawful, sustainable funding opportunities for the forum.

Inclusive and Responsible Service,
Representing the collective interest of all IPF members, particularly grassroots publishers, while discharging my duties with fairness, diligence, and loyalty.
Conclusion

I am fully prepared to serve the Ijaw Publishers Forum with integrity, professionalism, and unwavering commitment. I respectfully seek the support and confidence of members to enable me contribute meaningfully to the financial stability and institutional growth of IPF.
Together, let us continue to tell the Ijaw story with truth, responsibility, and pride.
