The election was held some days ago. He formally took over the mantle of leadership on September 15, 2026, during a swearing-in ceremony.
He received his Certificate and Oath of Office alongside other newly elected executive members.
Dr. Ejere is a hospitality practitioner. He is the Chief Operating Officer of Cubana and Managing Director of Harvard Restaurant.
In his acceptance speech, he thanked Almighty God and every member who participated in the electoral process for entrusting him with the mandate.
He said he was not there to rule 36 Pals but to serve it. The office of President, he added, is a position of responsibility, not privilege.
He said his administration would be guided by four principles: service, empowerment, ownership and community development.
He unveiled a two-year vision focused on creating value for members. Membership, he said, should not be only about meetings and dues, but about opportunities, support, friendship and belonging.
Among his initiatives are the 36 Pals 100 Teachers Vision Support Project for eye screening and prescription glasses, and the 36 Pals Community Traffic and Safety Volunteers Project.
Others include the 36 Pals 1,000 Trees for the Future Project, school fees support for deserving pupils, and proposed feeding interventions for homeless families and displaced persons.
He also proposed a “Membership Own One Land” Initiative, which will allow members to access land in the Federal Capital Territory with payment spread over an agreed period.
