Describes the Passing of the Ogeja King as a Profound Loss to the Ijaw Nation, Egbema Kingdom and Niger Delta,

Hon. Spencer Okubo Okpeye, Commissioner representing the Ijaw Ethnic Nationality on the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), has expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the family of His Eminence Archbishop Prophet Dr. Lucky Amakporowei Kerenkerenwei, the Ogeja King, following his passing unto Glory.
In a condolence message, Hon. Okubo Okpeye described the late Archbishop as a revered spiritual father, distinguished servant of God, community icon and a man whose influence extended far beyond the pulpit.
He said the departure of the Ogeja King represents a painful and irreplaceable loss to his immediate family, the Cherubim and Seraphim Healing Ministries, Awanba Community, Egbema Kingdom, the Ijaw people, the Niger Delta and the wider Christian community.
According to Hon. Okubo Okpeye, Archbishop Lucky Kerenkerenwei lived a life marked by faith, courage, service, compassion and commitment to humanity.
He noted that the late spiritual leader's counsel, prayers, wisdom and fatherly disposition touched numerous lives and contributed significantly to the spiritual and social development of people within and beyond Egbema Kingdom.
“The passing of His Eminence Archbishop Prophet Dr. Lucky Amakporowei Kerenkerenwei is a deeply painful loss. We have lost not only a great servant of God, but also a spiritual father, an elder and an icon whose presence brought strength, guidance and inspiration to many.”
Hon. Okubo Okpeye further stated that the late Archbishop's physical departure cannot erase the legacy he built throughout his lifetime.
The DESOPADEC Commissioner emphasised that the life and works of the Ogeja King will remain a source of inspiration to generations yet unborn.
He described him as a man who invested in people, promoted spiritual values and stood as a pillar of strength to many, adding that his contributions would remain indelible in the history of Egbema and the Niger Delta.
“Great men do not truly depart when they leave this world; they continue to live through the lives they touched, the values they promoted and the legacies they established. His Eminence has left an enduring footprint that death cannot erase.”
Hon. Spencer Okubo Okpeye extended his deepest condolences to the family of the late Archbishop, his wives, children and grandchildren, the leadership and members of the Cherubim and Seraphim Healing Ministries, the Awanba Community, the Egbema Kingdom and all those mourning this monumental loss.
He prayed that Almighty God would grant the bereaved family and loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
He also prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed spiritual father.
“May God Almighty comfort the family, preserve the great legacy he left behind and grant His Eminence eternal rest in His Kingdom.”
