DISCLAIMER; Rebuttal False and Defamatory Claims: Setting the Record Straight on Statements Attributed to one Mr. Goodluck Ojusin

CHIEF SHOLA KOROKORO REJECTS ALLEGATIONS, DEFENDS OPUAMA LEADERSHIP

Rebuttal of False and Defamatory Claims: Setting the Record Straight on Statements Attributed to one Mr. Goodluck Ojusin,

My attention has been drawn to statements and publications attributed to Mr. Goodluck Ojusin and circulated publicly, particularly on social media, concerning the leadership of the Opuama Bloc of Communities and my person as President of the Bloc.

I wish to state categorically that the allegations, insinuations and narratives contained in the said publications are false, misleading, inflammatory and without factual basis, and should therefore be treated with caution by members of the public.
As President of the Opuama Bloc of Communities, I strongly condemn what I consider to be an attempt to disparage respected community leaders and create unnecessary tension within our people.

In particular, the statements directed at Hon. Alhaji Omoko, Amb. Jude Ebitimi Ukori and Hon. Spencer Okpoye are unacceptable. These are prominent sons and leaders who, in our assessment, have contributed significantly to the development of Opuama and the wider bloc, including through youth empowerment, employment opportunities and other forms of community support.
Mr. Ojusin is reported to have alleged on his Facebook page that over ₦150 billion in monthly allocations meant for Opuama development is being shared among Hon. Alhaji Omoko and his associates, while some youths receive salaries of about ₦100,000 monthly.

This is a serious allegation which, if made, should be supported by credible documentary evidence, financial records and verifiable facts. I categorically reject the allegation as presented and challenge anyone making such claims to produce the evidence upon which they are based.
Community development matters should not be reduced to unverified figures circulated on social media. Where questions exist concerning public or community funds, the appropriate approach is transparency, documentation and accountability—not propaganda or personal attacks.

Mr. Ojusin is also reported to have made allegations concerning the personal wealth and properties of Hon. Spencer Okpoye while criticizing the state of development in Opuama.

Such claims concerning private assets, properties and financial worth should not be presented as established facts without credible evidence. Personal attacks and unverified claims about individuals' wealth do not advance the legitimate interests of Opuama youths.
Our community needs constructive engagement, verifiable information and practical solutions to issues of employment, infrastructure, education and empowerment.
I wish to make it clear that disagreement and criticism are legitimate in any democratic society. However, criticism must be based on facts, responsibility and respect for the dignity of individuals.

No individual should use social media as a platform to circulate unverified allegations, insults or statements capable of creating division among our people.
If Mr. Ojusin or anyone else possesses credible evidence of financial misconduct, abuse of office or wrongdoing by any community leader, such evidence should be presented to the appropriate authorities and relevant community institutions for proper investigation.
As President of the Opuama Bloc of Communities, my priority remains the peace, unity, development and collective progress of our people.

I therefore call on all sons and daughters of Opuama to reject inflammatory rhetoric, personal attacks and unverified allegations capable of dividing our communities.
Our youths deserve employment, empowerment and opportunities. Our communities deserve development. And our leaders deserve to be held accountable through facts, evidence and due process not social-media propaganda.
We remain committed to constructive dialogue, transparency, peaceful coexistence and the continued development of the Opuama Bloc of Communities.
Members of the public are therefore urged to disregard any unverified allegations or defamatory narratives circulated against the leadership of the Opuama Bloc of Communities and to rely on credible information and appropriate channels for clarification. Statement partly Read...

PRESS RELEASE / PUBLIC DISCLAIMER, REBUTTAL OF FALSE AND DEFAMATORY STATEMENTS MADE BY MR. ONE GOODLUCK OJUSIN.

My attention has been drawn to the baseless propaganda, inflammatory remarks, and malicious statements publicly circulated by one Mr. Goodluck Ojusin aimed at defaming key leadership figures in our community and maligning my integrity.

As Chief,Shola Korokoro, the President of the Opuama Bloc of Communities, I strongly condemn and debunk all allegations, insults, and false narratives put forward by Mr.Goodluck Ojusin.

The public insults directed by Mr. Ojusin against our prominent leaders Hon. Alhaji Omoko, Amb. Jude Ebitimi Ukori, and Hon. Spencer Okpoye are totally unacceptable, unwarranted, and misguided. These are distinguished leaders who have consistently dedicated themselves to the development of the Opuama Community and the entire Opuama Bloc of Communities, providing gainful employment and opportunities for thousands of our youths.

The inflammatory statements made by Mr.Ojusin this morning targeting my person and office are completely false, fabricated, and misleading. As the President of the Opuama Bloc of Communities, I can authoritatively confirm that Hon. Alhaji Omoko is a transparent and fair leader who consistently delivers what rightfully belongs to our people ranging from financial allocations and youth empowerment packages to fair job slot sharing across Opuama and the entire bloc.

 Antecedents of Mr. Goodluck Ojusin
To set the record straight, the public should be aware of the credibility and character of the individual behind these attacks:
Mr. Goodluck Ojusin is a known school dropout who was expelled from Novena University due to his involvement in cultism and drug-related activities.
Although he subsequently gained admission into the College of Education for a DELSU degree program 2025/2026 accademic session, he has failed to attend classes and continues to exhibit lawless behavior.

A person with such a questionable background lacks the moral standing or authority to lecture or slander honored chiefs and dedicated leaders who are building our community.

We urge members of the public and the good people of the Opuama Bloc of Communities to completely disregard the false propaganda, insults, and malicious antics of Mr. Goodluck Ojusin. Our leadership remains united and committed to progress, empowerment, and peace.

Signed:
Chief Shola Korokoro
President, Opuama Bloc of Communities
