Niger Delta youth leader, Comrade Mingo Friday Sayami Ogumaka of KingdomVoice, has expressed appreciation to High Chief Ebipade Kari for his support, presence and solidarity throughout the burial ceremonies of the late icon, His Eminence Archbishop Dr. Saint Lucky Amakporowei Kenrenkenrenwei, the Ogeja King.
Comrade Mingo particularly acknowledged High Chief Ebipade Kari for standing with the bereaved family, the Awanba community Ajakurama Clan and the wider Egbema community during the funeral activities.
He also recognised Kari’s representation of Niger Delta leader, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpomupolo, popularly known as Tompolo GOC, throughout the burial ceremony, describing the gesture as a demonstration of solidarity and respect for the late Ogeja King.
According to Comrade Mingo, High Chief Ebipade Kari has continued to demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility towards his people, noting that his presence during significant community moments reflects his commitment to the welfare, unity and aspirations of the Egbema people.
He described Kari as a leader who, in his view, has shown willingness to make personal sacrifices for the progress of Egbema Kingdom, particularly by standing with the people during moments of both celebration and grief.
Comrade Mingo further acknowledged High Chief Ebipade Kari's political involvement, noting that he is associated with the APC and has been presented as a candidate for the Warri North II constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly election scheduled for 2027.
He, however, emphasised that the purpose of the appreciation was to recognise Kari’s presence and contribution to the Ogeja King’s final journey, as well as his solidarity with the people at a significant moment in the history of the community.
Comrade Mingo prayed for God to continue to strengthen High Chief Ebipade Kari, bless his family and grant him greater wisdom and capacity to contribute to the development and unity of Egbema Kingdom and the wider Niger Delta.
He also prayed for the peaceful repose of His Eminence Archbishop Dr. Saint Lucky Amakporowei Kenrenkenrenwei, the Ogeja King, and for God to grant the bereaved family and the entire Awanba Ajakurama community the fortitude to bear the loss.
