IT'S OFFICIAL: INEC IMPLEMENTS WARRI DELINEATION, PUBLISHES NEW STATE CONSTITUENCIES
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially implemented the composition of the newly delineated State Constituencies and Registration Areas (RAs) for Warri Federal Constituency, Delta State, publishing the details on its official website in compliance with the Supreme Court judgment on the Warri delineation exercise.
The development comes days after a stakeholders' meeting convened by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, where leaders of the Ijaw, Itsekiri and Urhobo ethnic nationalities, alongside Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other key stakeholders, agreed to pursue peaceful engagement and dialogue on the implementation of the delineation exercise.
