Polobubor Welfare Association and Polobubor/Tsekelewu Blocks of Communities Leadership Commends Hon. Emmanuel Omoko for Resolving Constitutional Differences

The leadership of the Polobubor Welfare Association and the Polobubor/Tsekelewu Blocks of Communities has commended the Bolowei of Egbema Kingdom, Hon. Emmanuel Omoko, popularly known as Alhaji, for his timely intervention in resolving constitutional differences and restoring peace, unity and understanding within the Polobubor community in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State.

The commendation was contained in a joint statement issued by the President of the Polobubor Welfare Association, Comrade Pastor Mavis Tebeke-emi Ofiyai, and the President of the Polobubor/Tsekelewu Blocks of Communities, Comrade Paul Toruwei JP, following the successful resolution of the misunderstanding that had arisen between the youths of Polobuboh community,

According to the two leaders, the intervention of the Bolowei came at a critical moment and demonstrated his commitment to peaceful conflict resolution, unity, responsible leadership and the overall stability of Egbema Kingdom.

They explained that the disagreement arose principally from differing interpretations of certain constitutional provisions, which subsequently led to disagreements, consultations and several meetings among stakeholders.

However, they noted that the intervention of Hon. Emmanuel Omoko, the Bolowei of Egbema Kingdom, provided a constructive platform for dialogue, reconciliation and mutual understanding, ultimately bringing the concerned parties together and resolving the grievances.

The association leaders expressed their appreciation for the Bolowei's commitment to peaceful dispute resolution, stressing that his intervention helped to prevent further division and created an atmosphere conducive to cooperation and collective community development.

The intervention of the Bolowei of Egbema Kingdom helped to settle the differences, address the grievances and restore peace and unity within the community,” the association leaders stated.

The two presidents also applauded the youths of Polobubor for their maturity, restraint and demonstrated capacity for responsible community leadership throughout the period of the disagreement.

They equally commended the elders, women and other critical stakeholders of Polobubor for their patience, wisdom and valuable contributions toward maintaining peace and ensuring that the matter was resolved through dialogue rather than confrontation.

The leaders stressed that the unity of Polobubor remains paramount, calling on all members of the community to put the disagreement behind them and work collectively toward the development, peace and progress of the community.

They further urged the people of Polobubor to support legitimate community leadership structures, promote mutual respect and embrace dialogue as the preferred means of resolving future disagreements.

According to them, lasting development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace, unity, mutual respect and collective responsibility.

The leadership therefore called on all sons and daughters of Polobubor, including youths, women, men, elders and other community stakeholders, to consolidate the peace achieved and ensure that the community remains united for the advancement of present and future generations.

They further reiterated their commitment to inclusive leadership, assuring the youths, women and men of Polobubor that they would continue to carry everyone along as the community pursues its development agenda.

The leaders concluded by expressing renewed confidence that the successful resolution of the constitutional differences would usher in a new era of peace, cooperation, unity and sustainable community development in Polobubor.
